This 8 minute scene from the feature length script, Lone Star Trixie stars Academy Award winner, Richard Dreyfuss as “Virgil,” a jaded has-been director and Mircea Monroe as “Amazonian Blonde.” Laura fills in as “Trixie,” an old fashioned cowgirl in the new wild West. Kristen Kerr and Andrea Fellers appear as Denver and Morgan McKay, Trixie’s posse.

The scene takes place deep into the story of Trixie Carver, a cowgirl novelist who comes to Hollywood after her mother’s murder to write the biography of a Western film star. When her mother’s murder follows her to town, she calls in her posse and childhood friends, the McKay sisters. But she meets her unexpected match in Dexter Kirby, a rocker who has retired from the road.

Trying to beat the bad guys to her mother’s life savings, Trixie and her gang encounter Virgil, a disillusioned director who’s fallen from the Academy Awards to a low budget music video.
